Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the bookings you make and courses you attend with BeSafety Ltd (“BeSafety”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07502284, registered office 56 Delafield Road, London, SE7 7NP). By creating an account or making a booking you confirm that you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

A booking is a request to reserve a place on a course and becomes confirmed once payment is received in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for ensuring you meet the prerequisites for your chosen course, including any IRATA eligibility, medical fitness and minimum age requirements, before attending.

Courses are offered on one of two booking tiers:

• Standard. Payment is due immediately on booking, and in any event must be paid in full no later than 10 working days before the course start date. Places that are not paid in full by this point may be released.
• Flexi. In addition to the Standard payment terms, you may change your course date up to 48 hours before the scheduled start, subject to availability on the alternative date.

Tier rules are currently administered manually by our team where they are not yet automated in the booking system. Please contact us to exercise a Flexi date change.

Card payments are taken in full at checkout via Stripe. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate. An invoice is issued once payment has been completed.

• Flexi date changes may be made up to 48 hours before the start, as set out in section 3.
• Standard bookings are not eligible for date changes within the payment window; contact us as early as possible if your circumstances change.
• Late payment may result in your place being released without refund.
• No-shows — failure to attend without prior agreement is not refundable.

For IRATA rope-access courses, you agree that, as a condition of booking, we may query the IRATA Online System (IOS) using your surname together with your IRATA number and/or date of birth in order to verify your registration and eligibility. The data we retrieve and how we use it is described in our Privacy Policy.

We will send you essential transactional messages (such as booking confirmations and invoices) by email. Proactive course updates by SMS, WhatsApp or RCS are sent only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, that you could have avoided, or that arise from your failure to meet course prerequisites.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
